The codebreaker tries to guess the pattern, in both order and colour. Each guess is made by placing a row of code pegs on the decoding board. Once placed, the computer will provide a feedback with hints for your next try. A coloured or black ball is placed for each time the guess is correct in both colour and position. A white ball indicates the existence of a correct colour in the guess but placed in the wrong position. Once feedback is provided, another guess is made; guesses and feedback continue to alternate until the codebreaker guesses correctly.
