‘Farmneed Grower Module’ is a mobile based application developed by Farmneed AgriBusiness Pvt. Ltd. (FNAB) to promote data driven agriculture, with an
emphasis to help farmer/grower to become climate smart. The app connects farms (geo-tag) and warn farmers about upcoming disease and pest for their agricultural crops, well
in advance. The app help farmers with bespoke content related risk mitigation, agri input management etc. It also generates hyper local weather forecast to support farm
level activity.
The major tech backbone of Farmneed app consists of proprietary model developed using crop-weather relationship, numerical weather prediction (NWP), machine learning (ML)
and AI. The app
Furthermore, the app has undergone certain enhancements so as to add some new features to help the farmers / growers. For better engagement between scientific resorce and
farmer/grower, video based remote problem solving capacity has been introduced in the latest version (1.9.5). To enable further access for right agri input at preferential
price, the app has provisioned for in-app procurement of Agri Input like seeds, pesticides, fungicides etc. This component enables the farmers / growers to buy the needful
online at a reduced cost and also avail doorstep delivery.
